And here she comes! It is very important when you do show jumping that
you have the right speed, rhythm and balance. It´s also important that the
rider is distinct with the aids, sensitive and flexible. After the riding, the
student and the teacher always goes through how it went and what was good? What
could be done better next time? The questions what, how and why are very
central in all kind of riding. For example, if the student do an exercise with
the horse it is very important that the student know what it is, how you do it,
and why you do it. This indoor riding track was open in January 2011.
Hi Kristina
ReplyDeleteIs the tuition for one person at a time or are there often group discussions?

Hi!
DeleteWhen it is jumping lessons they often are between 4-6 students per group and they also often have group discussions after the lesson. They talk about how it went and what they have to think about to the next lesson. Sometimes they also film each other so they can evaluate themselves. Very good!
Do you teach this kind of riding? And if you do, how can a lesson look like?

Hi Kristina
ReplyDeleteHo often can the horse jump this high? Once a week, everyday or?
Hi Lena! Often the horses’ trains at lower highs two times a week I think (I am a dressage rider) and maybe they jump like this one time every second week. I am sure that the jumping rider trains the horses different. :)
