This is a picture inside the riding hall and a student show a couple of excercises with
her own horse. This student has a very good relationship with the horse. Here the horse
follows the leader. This couple has a lot of experience in Natural Horsemanship and I use
the couple to show younger students how to do it!

Hi Lena
ReplyDeleteDo the students all bring their own horses to the school? If so, what happens to students who don't own a horse?
Susanne
The school has 10-15 horses. Not all students bring their own horses to the school but many of them. It depends of the education of the horse if the students are allowed to use private horses in lessons.
ReplyDeleteHi Lena!
ReplyDeleteInteresting, do you often use students to show other students how to do a special thing? How do you think about that?
I think it is a good thing to do! The students learn more if they have to explain for other students how to do. And it can be inspiring for the other student to do the same.

Hi Kristina. We use that a lot. Lastweek we had a project about different gates. The students works in groups. The reported with a clinic in the riding hall. For example one group was telling us about toelt. The showed us one horse with good toelt, one with pacy toelt and another with trotty toelt. Nice and good way to start a discussion!
